Once every 5 Years our leadership meets to discuss changes to better our Union. This year over 1,000 representatives of all US and Canadian Locals were present. The Union Sportsman Alliance President spoke about our Brothers/Sisters donating time to help vitalize our Nations parks and recreational areas. We we're surprised when no other than Jeff Burgin BA from Chattanooga was selected as Conservation Steward of the Year. Jeff Thanked all of the Chattanooga SMART Army Members for making this possible if not for the Solidarity and Professionalism these projects could not have been completed. This was a Very Proud Day for Local 5. Thanks to the Brothers/Sister of the Fightin Fifth SMART Army.
